Exciting News!

We are thrilled to announce that two of our talented Annie cast members have been selected to participate in the 2025 Discovery Awards!

Blake Byrum, who played Oliver Warbucks, and Ayiana Ortiz, who brought Miss Hannigan to life, will represent our MHS production at this prestigious event!

The 2025 Discovery Awards will take place on Monday, June 2nd, at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.

Presented in partnership with Celebrity Attractions and the Tulsa PAC Trust, the Discovery Awards celebrate excellence in high school musical theatre across Eastern Oklahoma. Blake and Ayiana will participate in a week-long masterclass with industry professionals, leading up to a thrilling showcase competition on stage at the Tulsa PAC.

The top male and female performers from the Discovery Awards will earn an all-expense-paid trip to New York City, where they will compete at The National High School Musical Theatre Awards® (The Jimmy Awards®) on Broadway!

This is an incredible opportunity, and we couldn’t be prouder of Blake and Ayiana for their outstanding performances.
